Child stars are the biggest talk in town now. Especially after ‘Slumdog Millionaire' showcased many kids, even from humble Indian backgrounds, on an international platform.

It's not like how in the past, movie kids only used to make over acting look like an understated word. Some of these kids are fairly decent actors and they are reaping the rewards for their good work.

The child star who became famous after performing well in Aamir Khan's ‘Taare Zameen Par' – Darsheel Safary is very much a big name and is in the position of making the biggest of demands.

He's currently working for Priyadarshan's remake of the Iranian film ‘Children of Heaven'.

The latest is that Darsheel has been offered a film titled ‘Paadduram's' for a whopping amount of Rs 1.25 crore. He's playing the title role in the same.

Now, not very long ago Darsheel lost out on a film ‘Mastang Mama' - thanks to his huge price tag and the role eventually went to Tanay Cheddha who people are dubbing as the second most sought after child actor post ‘Slumdog Millionaire'.

But there's enough space in the entertainment industry for all these kids. No wonder they can throw the biggest of tantrums if they want to.
