/> It has never been done before. After seeing Sikandar, Piyush Jha's film on Kashmir militancy, Prasoon Joshi was so inspired that he wrote a song based on the film.

And now producer Sudhir Mishra is so inspired by Prasoon's song on Sikandar that he has decided to incorporate it into the film, and also shoot a music video based on the song.

Says Sudhir Mishra, "You're right. This has never happened before. Prasoon Joshi saw Sikandar. He fell in love with the idea and theme of the idea. And he offered to write a song. We thought we'd use the song to promote the film. But it was too evocative to not incorporate into the film."

Now, Piyush Jha has shot extra scenes to accommodate Prasoon's song into the narrative. The song also recurs in the film's soundtrack. "It adds a whole new dimension to the film. Prasoon's song which Shankar Mahadevan has composed and sung so beautifully typifies the film's theme, " says Sudhir.

Prasoon Joshi who's currently riding high with his lyrics in Delhi 6 says he simply had to express his thoughts when he saw the film about two young children (played by Parzan Dastur and Ayesha Kapoor) caught in the strife of Kashmiri militancy.

"I can't say what triggered off the poetry. But when I saw Sikandar I had to express my thoughts on the childhood of terrorism. I thought of the terrorist in his early years. He too was a child once full of innocence, curiosity and tender dreams. The thought was there swimming in my subconscious. Sikandar brought it to the surface."

Prasoon Joshi's song for Sikandar:

Dhoop ke sikkey
Dhoop ke sikkey utha kar gungunane do usey
Baingani kanchey hathelee par sajane do usey
Bholi bhali bholi bhali bholi bhali rehane do
Zindagi ko zindagi ko zindagi ko behne do
Barood jab bachcha tha woh titlee pakadta tha
Woh Ambiya bhi churata tha patangon par jhagadta tha
Agar tum uska manjaa lootley woh kuch nahin kehta
Thoda naraaz toh hota magar phir bhi woh khush rehta
Magar dhokey se tumne uska bachpan bhi toh loota hai
Zara dekho toh uski aankh main woh kabse rootha hai
Jugnuaon ki roshni main dil lagane do usey
Dhoop ke sikkey utha kar gungunane do usey

Baingani kanchey hathelee par sajane do usey
Bholi bhali bholi bhali bholi bhali rehane do
Zindagi ko zindagi ko zindagi ko behne do
Bahut jaldi dupattey oodhana sikhla rahey hain hum
Kyon zindagi ko raat se milawa rahey hain hum
Woh pallu se chipak kar maa ke chalti thi toh achchi thi
Akeyla chod kar usko kya kena chah rahe hain hum
Ek gehri neend se humko jagane do usey
Dhoop ke sikkey utha kar gungunane do usey
Baingani kanchey hathelee par sajane do usey
Bholi bhali bholi bhali bholi bhali rehane do
Zindagi ko zindagi ko zindagi ko behne do
