Ranbir Kapoor, like many present crop of young actors prefers doing one or at the most, two films at a time. His shooting work for Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, which is being directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, was
finally completed on March 14th.
The only other film of his, which is on the floors, is Wake Up Sid, being produced by Karan Johar and directed by debut-making Ayaan Mukerji. This one will be over by 7th
April.
Ranbir will start Shimit Amin's film for Yash Chopra thereafter. He is also scheduled to join the unit of Prakash Jha's Rajniti in August this year.
His last three months of the year have been allotted to a film to
be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala which is said to be a remake of Hollywood super hit The Departed where he will reprise the role of Leonardio DiCaprio.
And his new year (2010) will start with a film of Farook
Rattonsey who produced Karishma Kapoor starrer Zubeida.
Meanwhile, his mother, the ever-youthful and gorgeous-looking Neetu Singh is finally facing the arc-lights after years and years of domesticity.
The only reasons why Neetu Singh agreed to don the grease-
paint once again were that she liked the role she was offered in Arindam Chaudhuri's Do Dooni Char and the film also starred hubby Rishi Kapoor.
So even though she knew she'd be out of Bombay for the start-to-finish shooting, she didn't mind it as her husband would be with her.
Do Dooni Char is being currently shot in Delhi and should be complete
before this month-end. It is being directed by Habib Faisal who had written Siddharth Anand's Salaam Namaste and Ta Ra Rum Pum. Habib has turned director with Do Dooni Char.
