Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi is shooting for "Three Idiots", based on Chetan Bhagat's bestseller "Five Point Someone", and says he has stuck a "special chord" of camaraderie with the author.

"Chetan and I have become very good friends. We like each other so much that I got to read his third and most-awaited book 'Three Mistakes of My Life' in the manuscript form even before it was released in the market, " Sharman told.

Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the film is being directed by Rajkumar Hirani and also stars Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead apart from Sharman.
