Of late, we've spotted Shibani at various events promoting an array of social causes.
Recently she made big news when she met President Pratibha Patel for creating awareness in saving the girl child. Soon after, Shibani was once again spotted in Delhi for supporting Salaam Balak, a charity and educational NGO.
Now the gorgeous singer has surprised us with her political pursuits! She was recently seen campaigning for Congress candidate Dr. Ramesh Tomar in a rural area.
And on the 4th of May, she will be meeting Congress President Sonia Gandhi for campaigning on a national level this time!
Talking about her new-found determination in improving the nation's system, she says "I am definitely voting, and it's become all the more important this year. This is not just for the lower strata of society but for every single person in the country after what we have seen and been through in 26/7. Security is a major issue, crime is happening to everybody and financially the country is facing turbulent times.
We need a revamped government who are more youth oriented, dynamic, sensitive, and extremely accessible and thus not selfish. I strongly feel that ideally, the public should have a governing body elected by the public and who are readily accountable for their actions."
The lady will be voting this time from her hometown Delhi and from the looks of it, she is surely heading the "right'eous way!
