After Vaastav and Hathyaar, Namrata has decided to take her career seriously. She has been signed to play a leading role in director Mahesh Manjrekar's next film.From the beginning of her acting career in Bollywood, Namrata has avoided clichéd bimbo roles and has dug sensible and character roles that could bring out the actress in her.

She will be seen playing another similar role in Manjrekar's movie titled Shareer. Based on a women-centric subject, the film is believed to be the sequel to Manjrekar's Astitva. Namrata's co-star in the film is yet to be decided.
