John narrates an incident where Kabir Khan went around looking for locations amidst the high rise buildings. "One look at him and I knew what he was thinking. I told him don't even dream about it but you cannot fight Kabir he had his way out.
I stranded mid air while we were shooting the climax of the film. There was this Philadelphia National Centre which consisted of 46 floors and I had to jump of the 46th floor. The amazing part of this building is that you cannot go up once you are stuck in the middle. You have to come down and go up again" says John.
"Barrack Obama had just become the president and there were a lot of security issues. When we were in the midst of the shoot, Barrack Obama was passing by so the entire unit had to shut down work and be in the building.
There I was hanging by the cables on the 20th floor and the president was passing by with his entire entrouge. Helicopters were whizzing by above me.
The entire unit had left and had gone inside the building and there I was stranded in the middle for two hours. All I could see was a reflection of myself around me in the glass buildings all around. I could do nothing. The wind was blowing past me and it was as if I was in a weird tunnel.
I had to hold on to the building with two suction pumps in my hand. It was one hell of an experience. But if Kabir Khan can send me to Afghanistan this experience was nothing" John adds further.
