Many western actresses are swarming Bollywood.

MTV nominated American actress-model Denise Richards (The World is not Enough) recently starred in Sabbir Khan directed "Kambakkht Ishq" (Unfortunate Love), while Golden Camera winner Australian actress-singer Kylie Minogue (Neighbours) is part of "Blue" (Anthony D'Souza).

MTV winner actress-model Barbara Mori (Inspiracion) of Uruguay-Japanese-Mexican origin is heroine of "Kites" (Anurag Basu), while Florence Brudenell-Bruce of United Kingdom plays love interest Jo of hero Saif Ali Khan in "Love Aaj Kal" (Imtiaz Ali).

Kalki Koechlin, 26, of French descent, who studied at Goldsmiths University of London, is Chanda in "Dev. D" (Anurag Kashyap) and British model Lisa Lazarus plays second lead in "Veer" (Anil Sharma). German model-actress-singer Claudia Ciesla (10-10) is Linda in "Karma- Crime, Passion, Reincarnation" (M.R. Shahjahan).

Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, while welcoming western stars to Bollywood, urged the Bollywood filmmakers not to blindly copy the West and try to preserve the rich cultural heritage of India.
