Gracy was left out from the Lagaan success when everyone, even the minnows in the film were given their due credit. But she didn't give up and fought her way back into Bollywood. But she still considers lagaan as the landmark film of her career. "I am no star daughter but I did get my hour of glory with Lagaan. I can't thank Aamir and Ashutosh enough for giving me a chance to be part of a film which made history." says gracy and admits, "I committed myself to three films: Prakash Jha's Gangaa Jal, Honey Irani's Armaan and a remake of the Telugu hit Badri, opposite Tusshar Kapoor. All the films have shaped up wonderfully,"she points out. Singh particularly loves her role in Armaan.
She is playing Neha matur in Armaan, a lady doctor who is smitten by her work. "It was great working with such fantastic actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor. I've admired Mr Bachchan for as long as I can remember, working with him made me so nervous. The first day I was chewing my nails off just watching him on the sets," admits Gracy.
