At 30, she is sick of running around the trees rut and has decided to make some changes. You can sure expect some fireworks as she decides to play Mrs. Indira Gandhi in a film titled Indira Gandhi - A Tryst With Destiny. The actress who starred in a dud like 'Escape To Taliban', says the film has done more good to her career. "I am being offered some good scripts. I have no problems doing small films but the spotlight should be on me," she says.
The actress who has turned producer with her movie 'Paisa Vasool', is quite confident of this transition. "I want to associate myself with good films. That's why I have spent months finalising the subject, zeroing in on the cast. It gets tough at times but I can't afford to go wrong." she says. The film is a story of two women who want to reach out for the stars and also featues Sushmita Sen in the lead role.
Manisha will be launching her brother Siddharth in her second home production directed by Makrand Deshpande. Right now she is busy finishing shooting for a supernatural thriller, Anjaane. "I've learnt to take it easy, vacation once a year, spend more time with family, watch films and read more." says this overworked actress who seems to have found her peace.
