Tell us, who in the sane mind will turn down Subhash Ghai? Not many people but surprisingly, Amrita Rao just did. The lovely lass proved her histrionics with the teeny hit 'Ishq Vishq' and much appreciated cameo in Rajkumar Santoshi's 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh'.
Ghai, impressed with her performance, approached Amrita to play a role of a mother in his upcoming movie being directed by Abbas Mustan. The young Ishq Vishk girl turned down the offer saying, "It's too early in my career to play mother to a child".
Making her debut with a dud like 'Ab Ke Baras', Amrita is busy with her lead role in Gaurnag Doshi's war epic Deewaar - Let's Bring Our Heroes Home.
Barely three films old, she has already rubbed directors the wrong way. Her fault--her big mouth!
"I am a single-take artiste while most actors rehearse so much," she bragged while talking to press. When asked about the `casting couch` she was quick to respond, "Of course it exists since everyone keeps talking about it."
As questions rained the lady seemed to have an opinion on everything. Despite having plum offers Ms Rao will have to be a bit more careful. In any case isn`t it better to let your actions speak?
