Salman Khan is all set to play villain. He will reprise the role of Mogambo, earlier played by the late Amrish Puri, in the sequel of Mr. India.

The film will be directed by Anees Bazmee and will see Sridevi making her comeback with the film. Boney Kapoor, the producer of the film, has confirmed the news about Salman playing Mogambo. However, he didn't give out any more details as he stated that the script is still being finalized.

According to sources, Salman really wanted to do the film and spoke to Boney about it. Boney then asked Anees, the director, to make an interesting role for Salman. That's when Anees felt Salman could play the villain and came up with a character as good as Mogambo. The look for the role will also be different.

The film will start shooting next year around February –March. Salman is excited about playing a negative role. He will play a terrorist who plans to rule over India and his plans are foiled by Anil Kapoor's invention.
