But he proved himself that he has people support by fasting in protest of Cauvery dispute. This protest elevated him more and more. His success journey continued in ‘Chandramukhi' and ‘Sivaji'....
His previous film ‘Kuselan' won critical acclamations at box office and his upcoming flick ‘Endhiran' is expected to be the one of the most costly films in Indian Film Industry. He has almost completed shooting his younger daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth's debut directorial ‘Sultan– The Warrior' and it is slated to hit screens in April 2010.
