Shilpa Shinde who has been in the news for her personal issues (her marriage with Romit Raj was called off) is getting back to work now. The actress has taken up a project on Doordarshan which is called ‘Adhoora Bandhan' where she essays the lead role.

"I got couple of projects but this one fascinated me and I went ahead with it. The reason for taking the show is that first of all it's DD and secondly there is no interference from the channel, " states Shilpa Shinde who was last seen in ‘Swarg' in a cameo role.

Talking about the storyline of the show the actress quips, "It is very similar to ‘Ek Chadar Maili Si' where the husband dies and the bahu of the house has to re-marry his brother-in-law as she is pregnant. The show also has a lovely star cast which makes me feel good."

The star cast includes Sudha Chandran, Vishal Singh, Raju Kher, Amita Nagia, Kapil Soni, Nimay Bali, Roma Navani, Jitendra Trehan, Neena Cheema, Bhanu Sudan, Janvi Sangwan etc. "Working with such established actors is great and I am enjoying my work too. The show will go on air from the first week of January, " she adds.

"For now I just want to concentrate on this project and it is great to be back at work as I am a big workaholic, " she concludes.

It seems Shilpa has found out a way to move ahead. We wish her luck.
