While rumours are rife that Kajol and Ajay Devgan´s marriage is on the rocks, there is a much harsher reality facing Bollywood these days. Kajol´s last two releases, Raju Chacha and Kucch Khatti Kucch Meethi, weren´t big money ringers at the box office, with the latter bringing minimal business in some areas and the former being a complete big budget washout.

So it may have appeared that Kajol was having a rough time, as many actresses have had before. Not exactly. It may seem more like a rough end. While hubby Ajay Devgan went on to sign many a films, Kajol only has one, Karan Johar´s Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham. Furthermore, fans are pining hope that the film will bring out the Kajol we all know and love as he did in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, but from the promos, it seems like the film is a family based film, that focuses more on Shah Rukh´s dilemma, not Kajol´s.

Not a single film is in the line up for Kajol after KKKG, with a sole exception of an untitled, long in the making film with Salman Khan. Kajol has really brought life to the industry in the past with many a hits including, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, Pyar To Hona Hi Tha, Ishq, and a long, long list. It would be our loss if she doesn´t sign any more films. Really.
