The musician-composer was in the news recently for a spat with Sandesh Shandilya, the music director of Tum Milo Toh Sahi. Raghav plays himself in the movie, opposite Anjana Sukhani.
The director, Kabir Sadanand requested him to sing a track as well. With two composers working on the same piece, there were bound to be differences.
"I have never sung for any other music director till now. I create my own music and sing it or take services of other singers. But Kabir was insistent. So I eventually agreed, " explains Raghav. The issue was sorted out with the song having two versions – the original and a remix by Raghav.
The singer, who plays more than 30 instruments, is on a roll. He has taken up his first full-fledged project as composer – Vikran Bhatt's Phirr. His two singles will be out, under his label 'Raghav Sachar's Music'.
The crooner had established his label in May 2009, with Charming Lootera being its first release. The first song is a romantic number written by Aditya Dhar.
The second is an edited account of one of his live concerts. He has even come up with a business strategy where in he licenses the physical sales of his music though the copyright of the tracks lie with him.
Be it acting, singer, composing, live performances and now business – the man's done it all. Looks like competition in the music industry is as fierce as in tinsel town!
