Sajid pays tribute to iconic directors of yore

Like in his previous blockbuster Heyy Babyy Sajid Khan is paying tribute this time around again in his forthcoming film Housefull to the iconic directors of the 70's and the 80's.

The opening credits of Heyy Babyy saw a thank you note to all actresses that made a special appearance in the title song of the film and this time for Housefull Sajid will have on the big screen a note paying tribute to directors of the 70's and 80's some of whom include masterminds like Manmohan Desai, Prakash Mehra, Feroz Khan, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, K. Raghavendra Rao and Ravi Tandon.

Talking about this tribute says Housefull director Sajid Khan "Housefull is my humble homage to these directors. The films they've made have redefined Indian Cinema with 1 word – entertainment. They made some of the most entertaining films of the 70's and the 80's"

Eros International and Sajid Nadiadwala's Housefull starring Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal, Jiah Khan, Randhir Kapoor and Boman Irani is set to hit the big screen 30th April 2010.
