/> Once and for all Akshay Kumar sets the record straight on his pairing with Priyanka Chopra by saying he's all for the pair coming together again.

"But will she do a film with me? The ball is in her court. I do mostly comedies. I think Priyanka hardly ever acts in comedies, " reasons Akshay.

Clearing all doubts about his ability/inability to work with Priyanka Chopra Akshay says, "Excuse me, we're all professionals here. And the two of us have done very successful films in the past.

I'd love to work with Priyanka Chopra again.Mujhe koi aitraaz nahin hai. But I'm only doing comedy films these days. I don't know whether she wants to do a comedy film. Even Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan is a comedy."

Having decided he would do predominantly comedy roles Akshay is now on the look-out for ways to make it interesting. "Even if it's comedy it better be interesting. If I continue doing the same thing over and over again I'd be asked to pack up sooner than I'd like."

Akshay had a ball doing Housefull. "Not just the three ladies but also Riteish Deshmukh and Arjun Rampal. Riteish was great fun. Shooting was a playground with him around. He just cracks me up.

We once put all the cutlery at the breakfast table in a hotel in Italy in Jiah Khan's bag and told the waiter to check her bag. Jiah took it sportingly.Arjun Rampal too has great comic timing. Lara Dutta is such an elegant lady and yet she be can one of the boys when it comes to comedy."

We've heard of actors carrying their roles home. But Akshay Kumar would be the first actor to take his part to the playing field. Having been training as a bowler Akshay Kumar is all set to play national-level cricket.

Akshay Kumar is fast learning to be a professional cricketer and plans to play at the national level soon. "I'm working towards it. Practising my cricket gives me the biggest high. Every morning I look forward to practising with Balwinder Singh Sandhu."

Akshay is rapidly become an expert bowler. " I am not yet good enough to play national-level cricket but I am getting there. I've been taking bowling lessons for Patiala House from one of the best trainers. I'm trying get to a national level. I'm very sporty by nature. So it was quite easy for me to pick it up."

Akshay trains in cricket for a couple of hours every day. "I'm getting good enough to play beyond the film. And I will very soon. I promise you."

In his new film Housefull Akshay gets to pay a homage to Mithun Chakraborty and Dharmendra. "The director Sajid Khan's sister Farah was doing the choreography.

I suggested we put in the pelvic movements of Mithunda (Chakraborty) and the extempore dance movements of Dharamji (Dharmendra). It was my life-long ambition to dance like these two legends. They dance from their heart.

I'm also a big fan of Dutt Saab (Sanjay)'s dance movements. I remember how taken up I was when Rocky was released. He used to make his long hair dance."

Akshay Kumar is now looking forward to being wooed by three women in Housefull. "Yes I've three wives in Housefull. It's all a comic mix-up. But I basically I play a loser. I enjoyed playing a loser more than any macho role I usually play.

See, all us men are duffers underneath the swagger anyway.We may act cool for the ladies. But that's all an act. If you take away my wife, my designer clothes and my flashy car, I'm just a scared little boy at heart. Without the support system we're losers.In Housefull I play an out-of-luck guy who gets caught in a crazy situation."

Akshay had to flaunt his physique with the rest of the cast for the beach scenes. "Was I embarrassed? No. If it is a beach scene I can't be wearing a suit."

Akshay is all praise for his Housefull director. " I don't think I've met a more confident filmmaker than Sajid Khan. He just wants to be the best filmmaker of all times, period. And he believes he's the best entertainer.

When we started shooting for Housefull in London he sent all the actors a signed letter stating this would be the biggest film of their career. That's Sajid for you. I'm very different. I'm always trying to be as humble as possible."

Akshay has worked with both bother Sajid and sister Farah Khan. He reluctantly compares both. "I actually finished fifty percent of Sajid's film before I went into Farah's film. Actually they're very different from one another. But they both believe in making big Bollywood blockbusters."

Akshay reveals he has already worked with 52 directors and is still looking for filmmakers who can tap the best out of me. "I'm still hungry. I want to work with directors who can help me tap emotions that I don't know about."

Introspecting on his career Akshay says, "I'm very happy with the kind of work I'm doing. I tried doing more serious films. But they were rejected. So I am back to comedy. Nikhil Advani's Patiala House is not a comedy.

But it has comic portions.Priyadarshan's Khatta Meetha is a film on road mafia done in a light vein.That apart I am not signing any more films. I've been working the whole year and I need a break.Then I'll be doing another film with Vipul Shah, "

Recalling the days of his Khiladi series Akshay says, "I might do another Khiladi film. Who knows about the future? I had said I'd never produce a film.Today I'm co-producing all my films including Farah's Tees Maar Khan."
