With the recent news of the legendary Big B joining Twitter and Mr. Bhatt scouting for talent on this social networking site, the question that arises is whether Twitter is the next big thing to create a buzz. Just recently Mr. Bachchan joined Twitter to connect with the masses.

With some quirky, some witty and some totally emotional tweets there is almost like a war of tweeting between the celebs in B-town.

Indian masses go crazy over their favorite stars and want know what they are doing every single minute. Celebs have also found a fun yet convenient way to pour their hearts out and connect with their fans.

But it seems this is not exactly the only thing done on Twitter. It's become the 'in' thing in the industry and is also helping the popularity of the stars. They are tweeting about their films, their shoots or just simply how the weather is!

Recently Mahesh Bhatt and even Karan Johar were seen hunting for suggestions, talent, and new faces for their films. This social networking site has almost become like a platform for exchange of thoughts. What celebrities tweet almost instantly catches the headlines and becomes the news of the day.

Priyanka shoots in Coorg, Karan Johar looks for a title for the adaptation of Stepmom, Akshay Kumar enjoys watching the match, A.R Rahman plays a loving father, Deepika and Neil get an i-pad as a gift by Pradeep Sarkar, Celebs have sure learnt to connect...and connect well!

This is a great way to get your fans follow you and also win several hearts by just a click. Good or bad, this has sure become a publicity tool but how far it will take these celebs is something that can only be left to prediction. But as for now the new mantra is, wherever celebs go...Twitter follows!
