A R Rahman is the new sparkling gem for North America. The Indian maestro, who is conducting the 'Jai Ho! - The Journey Home Tour', now seems to have as many fans as in his home country.

The reason for this belief is that Jai Ho Tour's tickets are apparently sold out in North America. Fans have willingly shelled out $ 1, 000 approximately Rs. 4, 700 for the tickets.

Eleven concerts are going to be held in North America between June 11 and July 5, after which Rahman and his battalion would go to Europe. The Tour will begin in New York, the show will take place at Nassau Coliseum and end on July 25 at London's Wembley Stadium.

Rahman shot to fame around the globe with his score for Slumdog Millionaire. He won two 'Academy awards' and two 'Grammy Awards' for the movie's soundtrack.

Americans find Rahman's music easy to listen to as it embraces fantastic tunes, and the music also goes soul deep. Rahman's incredible sense of music has to be applauded as it is really able to cross all boundaries and barriers.

Indo-American Arts Council is selling the Jai Ho! Concert's tickets, its executive director Aroon Shivdasani believes that Rahman has enchanted Indians and western audiences alike with his versatile music range. Shivdasani doubts if any seat will be left available at any of the concerts; all the regular tickets of the concert are sold out in US. Only the high value tickets are left, but they are also expected to be sold soon!
