Amrish Puri AKA Mogambo is very happy these days. The veteran actor has cut down on his amount of work and using the free time to pen down his memoirs.
"When I first decided to write, I asked myself: what do I write? And then, someone suggested that I write on myself, about my years in the industry. Well, I don't remember everything but, once we started, incidents and little nuggets that I'd long forgotten came back to me," says Puri.
He confesses to have done some meaningless films in the past. But he is willing to change all that.
"I'm searching for quality -- that's why I've cut down on projects. A surgeon's area of expertise is operating on any part of the body. I'm an actor; I also have different operations to perform. My endeavour is to make each performance memorable," gushes Puri.
