It's finally official. After all the denials from both sides, Kareena Kapoor has confirmed that she will play the female lead in Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine. The film is based on the life of Hollywood actress Marilyn
Monroe and Kareena has already begun her research for the film. She has begun watching Marilyn's films and also other old movies of B-town's classic beauties Waheeda Rehman, Nargis and Madhubala. Kareena
believes the role tailor-made for her will challenge her acting skills and hopes Madhur will guide her well.
Meanwhile, Kareena is working on three films right now - Rohit Shetty's Golmaal 3, Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One and Agent Vinod with Saif Ali Khan. She will start work on Heroine after she completes these films. Even
Madhur is currently working on his first romantic comedy, Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji. Madhur and Kareena had tried to work together earlier on Page 3 and Fashion, but Kareena had been forced to turn both of them down
due to her previous work commitments. Now, the duo have got third time lucky.
