Television anchor Mini Mathur who became popular and achieved fame from anchoring 'Indian Idol's first three season and went on hosting other reality shows.

When asked if she ever geared up for acting, she laughs and quips, "When I stepped in television many years ago I took a conscious decision not to do television soap. Acting is not my cup of tea."

She also mentions that as she hosted so many shows and she is very perfect in that she carries her own way of doing and presenting all the show in a different manner. Also she adds, "If somebody else can do the show then I don't want to be a part of it that's my formula."

She was also seen in 'Jhalak Dhikla Jaa Season 2 as a contestant but when it comes to participating in other reality shows like 'Big Boss' or 'Meethi Choorie' she finds it crap and says, "I did 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' because I wanted to try my hands at dancing and it was a very different show. Participating in 'Jhalak ...!' was not like participating in 'Meethi Choori' or 'Big Boss'.

I don't participate in crap." Mentioning the reason she retorts, "If I find quality in a reality show then I don't mind doing it then why I choose 'Jhalak......!' because I was dancing with a choreographer and also I learnt many other dance forms. I do get offers for reality show as a contestant but I'm a very private person and I don't like spreading my space out on reality TV.

I don't like to promote myself." Mini also discloses that doing all these kind of shows creates a different impression on the audience. Currently Mini is busy hosting two shows and she is only focusing in hosting but not acting, but she mentions acting as her second option of which she is still thinking of.

Well! We hope that very soon rather than an anchor we would see her as an actor in Bollywood!!!
