In Bollywood, mostly film directors like to stick to one ‘lucky' music composer for every film, Vipul Shah has come across
as a rarity.
The man not only chose to assign the music for his films to different composers once or twice, but
has roped in six different musicians for his next six directorial ventures.
Thus it can comfortably be concluded
that Vipul Shah not only likes experimenting with the type of films being made by him, but also with its music. Having
worked with the likes of Jatin & Lalit, Himesh Reshammiya, Anu Malik and Shankar – Ehsaan – Loy, the filmmaker is all
set to introduce a different genre of music with composer Pritam on board in his upcoming film "Action Replayy" starring
Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles.
And the list does not end here. After "Action Replayy", audiences will get to see Vipul Shah in the shoes of a producer for
the Hindi version of "Kakka Kakka".
The film starring John Abraham in the lead has music by Harris Jayaraj,
the composer of the original Tamil version. Harris Jayaraj's last work in Bollywood is the Dia Mirza, Saif Ali Khan and
Madhavan starrer "Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein".
While India is still waiting for the release of "Action Replayy" this Diwali, talks of his upcoming venture have already
begun. Industry experts wonder who Vipul Shah will rope in next as music composer for his films, with most leading
musicians on the Bollywood list already exhausted.
