B-Town might have noticed Rahul Bhatt after his stint in Bigg Boss 4, but his father Mahesh has no plans to launch his career after his exit from the reality show. Or to revive Suicide Bomber, which was to be his son's debut.
Recently, there was buzz that Suicide Bomber, to be directed by Anurag Basu, would be revived. There was also speculation that Rahul would feature in his sister Pooja's next production.
Says the outspoken Mahesh, "We are not here to make movies for our children. If there is anything for him and if it is mutually advantageous, we will consider it."
Adds Bhatt Sr, "Suicide Bomber was aborted as it had no takers. And Pooja is extremely finicky about casting for her movies. So it will be her call."
The producer states that his son was initially offered the role Kunal Khemu did in Kalyug but he wasn't keen on it.
Then there was talk for another project with Rahul. Nothing materialised. Later there was talk with him for Jism 2 but for that too, he was uninterested.
"The bottomline is the subject and it should appeal to him, " informs Mahesh.
