For the first time, Jaya, Abhishek, Aishwarya and Shweta will share screen space with Host Amitabh Bachchan for the grand finale of the TV show

The grand finale of this season's Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) to be held in the last week of December promises to be truly grand.

For the first time on a screen of any size, the entire Bachchan family " the Big B, Jaya, Abhishek, Aishwarya and Shweta Bachchan will be seen on the same stage.

Yes, the Bachchan family would be sharing the hot seat with the Bachchan patriarch, who is the host of the show.

Official sources from the channel confirmed that talks with the Bachchan family for their first ever appearance on a game show have reached an advanced stage.

A source said, "With this one master-stroke the channel is sure it would march well ahead of its competition Bigg Boss."

When contacted Ajit Thakur, CEO of Sony Entertainment confirmed the Bachchan family's expected appearance for the grand finale of KBC.

"Yes, we are in advanced negotiations to have the entire Bachchan family on the grand finale of KBC. But our aim is not to beat the Bigg Boss. We really don't wish to talk about that show."

Reliable sources confirm that Sony Entertainment is also in serious talks with the Big B for another season of KBC.
