He may be the man behind a super successful film like Dabangg, but word has it that he will no longer be a part of the
sequel that has already been planned.
Director Dabangg, who created history in his debut film itself has not
been roped in to direct Dabangg 2, if reports are to be believed. The same reports also claim that the sequel to the highest
grossing film in the history of Bollywood cinema will be a complete home production with either Arbaaz Khan or Sohail Khan
as the director of the sequel.
Industry insiders are more than shocked at the sudden change in the film's crew and media speculations on the issue have
already begun.
According to reports in the media, it was on the insistence of lead actor Salman Khan that
Abhinav Kashyap is no longer a part of Dabangg 2. Though the film was a roaring hit, all was apparently not well between
Salman Khan and his director Anurag Kashyap in Dabangg.
It is being said that differences cropped up between Salman Khan and Anurag Kashyap during the shoot of Dabangg and
therefore, the actor has no interest in working with the director a second time. To be tentatively titled 'Robinhood Chulbul
Pandey', the sequel will retain cast members Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sonu Sood and Sonakshi Sinha.
