The actor, who has described the film as a mix of James Bond and Jason Bourne series, took kickboxing lessons for three months to get the correct body language and improve body co-ordination for the fight sequences.
The chota nawab trained with Ziauddin Khatib, a three-time world kickboxing champion, in Mumbai and in Goa. Says Khatib, "We trained for two to three hours daily.
Saif was a very good student and trained religiously. He always came on time, though he had many things to handle (he is also producing the film). He even went beyond the training necessary to learn sparring so that it will give that extra edge to his fights."
