Ajav Devgn understands Marathi but needs some fluency in speaking the language properly. His character of a cop in Singham needs to mouth lines in Marathi.
He's picking up the language from the set
boys and those around him. The film which has the Maharashtra-Goa border as its setting, will have the star speak in Marathi in certain scenes.
Perhaps he could take tips from Aamir Khan, who even had
a Marathi tutor!
