"They are fairly young and can mix easily with kids. Adnan has composed and sung some of the best tracks in the last decade. Javed has worked in Bollywood and given some chartbusters like 'Nagada', 'Ranjha ranjha', 'Jashn-e-bahara', while Kailash is emotional about his music, " Ashish Golwalkar, head of non-fiction programming, Zee TV, said in a press statement.
The channel is trying to work out a unique feature for the upcoming season, wherein original compositions prepared by the mentors will be rendered by the child participants.
"I don't know whether this can be executed, but we have thrown the idea at our mentors. This hasn't been attempted in any other singing show. The show only flags off late next month, so we have time to work on it, " said Golwalkar.
TV actor Jay Soni, who plays Ishaan in Star Plus's "Sasural Genda Phool", will join child celebrities Afsha Musani and Dhairya Sonecha, to host the show for the season.
"Afsha and Dhairya at times couldn't handle heavy moments on the show alone. So they have their Jay bhaiya for company this time, " he added.
The 13-week series will be showcased twice a week.
