So you thought ticket prices were becoming too prohibitive for the common man? Subhash Ghai has found a solution. He is releasing two of his production Cycle Kick and Love Express featuring students from his school Whistling Woods acting school together as a two-in-one feature film.
"So essentially audiences can watch two films at the ticket-price of one film, " explains Ghai excitedly. "I'm excited about the idea because it is generally felt that the smaller offbeat films do not offer the audience enough incentive to pay so much.
I agree with that. I can't expect my audience to pay the same money to see a Cycle Kick and Love Express that they'd pay to see a Dabangg or a Ready. So I am offering them two films at the price of one. "
