Pratik is finding it tough to get paired with heroines who can match his temperament and youthful looks on screen.
In the two years that Pratik has been around, several actresses have found their projects with the Babbar boy either called off or revised.
Chitrangda Singh
Was paired with Smita Patil's son in a film titled Sufi. Aditya Dhar directs this film on crime and gangsters. Sources says the parts were perfect for both. Most of the shooting was to begin and conclude during the monsoons.
What went wrong: After the pair was tested together, they were termed 'incompatible'. Moreover, Chitrangda with her dusky, cerebral looks has often been compared with Pratik's mom, making them look more like siblings than lovers on screen."
She says: Chitrangda admits, "Pratik and I had been approached. It was Aditya's own script set in the underworld during the 1970s. Unfortunately, the project didn't happen."
CURRENT STATUS: Last heard, Aditya was frantically searching for a more suitable heroine.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan were also not cast together for a very long time because directors thought the two with their fair complexion and blue eyes looked more like twins than a couple deeply in love. Dhoom 2's success proved the naysayers wrong.
