"Bombay Dreams", the glitzy musical which took Britain by storm and even premiered in the US, could soon make a splash in India.

Though it has not yet confirmed any such plans, a team from Britain is currently in India to investigate the feasibility of a tour. Also, a new cast with actors from India is likely.

Produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber, it ran to packed houses in London for two years.

"Bombay Dreams" is the first ever show on Broadway set in contemporary India, particularly Bollywood, and the first ever Broadway show to use the music of an Indian composer, A.R. Rahman, and choreographer Farah Khan.
