Talking about the movie, Khan said that it was a dream come true for him to share the silver screen with Tamil Superstar Rajnikanth.
"You know when I came to Mumbai many years ago, the first person I went to see from the airport was Rajnikanth. Rajni sir was shooting a film with Mukul Anand Sahab, the late Mukul Anand Sahab and since then, since years and since my childhood, I have always had this desire.
I never thought I am good enough to work with him, but I had this desire to meet him and then this dream came true," said Khan.
"We wrote a little bit of a scene in this film, I didn''t know if he would be able to shoot it for us, but like I said Soundarya and Rajni Sir himself. I have never experienced his graciousness, this goodness from any human being in my life," he added.
Khan said that though the character in the movie was similar to other super heroes, the qualities of the protagonist depicted in his flick are different from what the audience has seen in previous films.
"Yes, his name is Shekhar Subramanium. He is a software engineer and he is a game developer software engineer. He works in a company in London and he has been trying to develop games for years and failing at it, till such a time when his son tells him that he has to make a game in which the villain is more powerful than the hero," said Khan.
"So, he designs this game, which is called 'RA.One', Random Access Version One and it starts mythologically being like the bad Ravana and he''s a little geeky, very gentle, very sweet and he loves his child like every father does," he added.
Besides Khan, popular actress Kareena Kapoor and actors Dalip Tahil, Satish Shah and Shahana Goswami also essay key roles in this thrilling movie.
The music of the film is composed by musician duo Vishal-Shekhar.
The action-packed science-fiction film, directed by Anubhav Sinha, is slated to release on October 26.
