Sonia Gandhi and Ram Vilas Paswan are next-door neighbours. Not surprisingly their offsprings have grown up together. Chirag Paswan is therefore surprised by all the brouhaha over Rahul Gandhi being seen at a special screening of Chirag's debut film Miley Na Miley Hum in Delhi on Monday.

Says Chirag, "People want to know HOW could I get Rahul to watch my film? My question is, how could he not?! Rahul is family. He was part of my process of becoming an actor and shared my immediate family's excitement about my debut. "

Apparently Rahul took avid interest in the progress of Chirag's debut film.

Says Chirag, "Rahul and I have been neighbours and family-friends for the past 22 years. I didn't have to convince him to watch my film. He was keen on his own to see the film at the first opportunitity he got. "

Rahul sat through the entire film. He was apparently quite taken up with Kangna Ranaut. Presumably this was the first time he was seeing her on screen and kept asking Chirag about her.

He also has kind words for his pal Chirag.

But clearly it was Kangna who caught the young Gandhi's fancy.
