Vidya Balan's 'The Dirty Picture' has already triggered a new controversy as Southern sex siren Silk Smitha' s brother has sued the makers of the film.

V Naga Vara Prasad, Silk Smitha's brother, has sent legal notice to producer of the film Ekta Kapoor and director Milan Luthria on the grounds that the makers had not taken any consent from the family members before making the film that is based on the life of the actor.

The Dirty Picture is reportedly based on the facts provided by Silk Smitha's alleged boyfriend.

Smitha's brother, who lives in Andhra Pradesh, was concerned more about the content of the film.

He feels that her sister has been projected in an obscene manner. He said he would sent another notice if the film-makers do not respond to his first notice.

B-town actor Vidya Balan portrays the role of Silk Smitha in the film and already the promos have attracted lots of attention.

The film also features Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor in lead roles.
