"High Fidelity" star John Cusack is to star opposite Morgan Freeman in a thriller, "The Contract", about a family that accidentally crosses the path of a professional assassin.

Director Bruce Beresford also directed Morgan in the Oscar-winning "Driving Miss Daisy".

The Guardian said filming of "The Contract" is set to start in spring 2005. Cusack is currently shooting the romantic comedy "Must Love Dogs" with Diane Lane.
