Post Big Boss, Amar Upadhyay might be back on the telly with a show on a popular channel very soon. This time out, it will be
negative role. "I heard the story," the narration was simply amazing," says Amar who is awaiting to put pen to paper before talking
on the same."
In the meantime, Amar is back on the big screen as a righteous cop. Based on a true story, the film Alchemy Motion Pictures' Klub
Lodhi Road, directed by Saurabh Kabra, is based on a true story on the life of these extraordinary men who took leadership and
responsibility of finishing crime in Delhi.
Inspired from true incidents and real people, the film is just not about their bravery and courage; it takes a sneak peek into the
departmental politics, the rise and fall of these men and actual working style of special cell.
Amar Upadhyay plays Surya, the youngest team member of special cell, a trained sharp shooter and acts as a catalyst in every
encounter.
Says he, "The Film has true encounters of gangsters like :Munna Bajrangi, Bunty Gurjar,and Yaseen and also some of the very
famous terrorist encounters like Parliament, Ansal Plaza & Batla house. It brings to light the lives of men who bravely handled the
parliament attack and solved the case within 24 hours, and is narrated by a witness."
Other than Amar Upadhyay, KK Menon and Manoj Joshi also play key roles in the film.
