Arshad Warsi to get his former 'Munnabhai' co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani for his directorial debut

Even before his maiden production venture had released, Arshad Warsi had announced his plans of directing a film.

Now, a couple of years after Hum Tum Aur Ghost tanked, the actor is preparing for his directorial debut. Interestingly, Munnabhai co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani too will feature in the film, along with Arshad.

For someone who started as a choreographer and is best known for his comic characters, Arshad is making his foray into direction with an action thriller, scripted by Soumik Sen.

A well-placed industry source tells us that the actor-turned-filmmaker is playing a conman in the movie while Sanjay's and Boman's characters are being kept closely under wraps.

"However, the kind of chemistry Sanjay, Boman and Arshad share in the movie will be different from that in their Munnabhai series of films," revealed our source. On his part, Arshad declined to comment on his casting coup.
