/> Writer Salim Khan loves encouraging young talent. So it isn't surprising that he invited the Vicky Donor director and writer Shoojit Sircar and Juhi Chaturvedi to his residence on Tuesday after watching their film.

In an endearing gesture of appreciation Salim Saab handed over one of his old Filmfare trophies to Sircar and Chaturdevi.

Says Sircar, "Juhi and I spent a good 45 minutes with Salim Saab on Tuesday afternoon. It was an overwhelming experience. We learnt so much from him just by hearing him talk about Sholay, and screenwriting, and Sanjeev Kumar. "

Sircar received a call from Salim Saab on Tuesday morning. "He said he liked my film and that if someone had come to him to write a film on this theme he'd have never attempted it. This, coming from the man who re-wrote all the rules of screenplay writing...Honestly I couldn't have hoped for a higher compliment. "
