The upcoming movie of Dharma Productions, ‘Student of The Year' is going places and by saying that we mean ‘literally'. The film marks the debuts of Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. The first look of the film was released by Karan Johar on the5th of January on a micro blogging site. The poster had a fresh and young vibe that was well received by the audiences.

Dharma Productions is known to shoot at the best locations for their films and they have never restrained from experimenting to shoot at entirely new locations.

Standing by this image, Karan Johar is going all the way to get the finest locations for his film. The film is being shot in Dehradun, Shimla, Kashmir and Thailand; and that itself raises the expectation levels and the feel good factor about the movie.

The movie is still under production; the cast and crew of the movie are having a blast travelling and shooting at all the exotic places. Karan Johar while shooting in Thailand tweeted about the arrangement of his stay, "Staying at the most amazing hotel in Koh Samui-Thailand... luxury unfortunately makes you lazy!!!"

So here's adding one more reason to look forward to this movie along with the fun and frolic. Student of the Year is slated to release on the 15th of October, 2012.
