The Pakistani actor-cum-musician-cum-song writer-cum-painter who turned 32 on Friday was born on May 18, 1980 in Lahore, Pakistan.

Zafar has had very interesting career turns in his life.

Apart from learning music he also learned painting from the National College of Arts.

Before stepping into the musical world, he appeared in several commercial advertisements and acted in television.

He also worked as a portrait artist in a five star hotel in Lahore where he used to draw sketches of visitors and guests.

Ali Zafar made his debut as a musician with the album Huqa Pani and as an actor in Bollywood with the hit comedy film, Tere Bin Laden.

His other ventures Indian cinema includes "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" and "London, Paris, New York".

Ali Zafar tied the knot with his long-time fiancée Ayesha Fazli with whom he has a son named Azaan Zafar.
