Those who have had a sneak preview of Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s Devdas, just can`t stop raving about how good Madhuri is in the film. Comparatively, Aishwarya Rai looks absolutely dull and morose. With critics being all praises for Madhuri`s performance in Lajja, one wonders where does that leave Aishwarya Rai.
What also becomes an issue of concern is that the actress hasn`t had a single hit after Mohabbatein which wasn`t exactly Aishwarya film. While the other hot contender Kareena Kapoor has raced ahead with the hit Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai! And though Yaadein has been declared a flop, Kareena`s performance has been appreciated. Ash now needs to pull up her socks if she wants to be called the numero uno!
