Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor turned mom here Friday evening.

Karisma, fondly called Lolo in film industry circles, gave birth to a baby girl, the fifth generation of Bollywood's first family, TV news channels said.

Karisma had married Delhi-based industrialist Sanjay Kapur in September 2003 in a grand wedding in Mumbai.

She is the daughter of the 1970s Bollywood stars Randhir Kapoor and Babita, the granddaughter of Bollywood's legendary showman Raj Kapoor and sister of current heartthrob Kareena Kapoor.
