Music: Nadeem Shravan
Lyrics: Sameer
Singers: Sonu Nigam, Kumar Sanu, Sadhana Sargam, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Shaan and Alisha Chinoy.

Two years ago producer-director Suneel Darshan started a trend. When the big music companies began to play truant, often arm-twisting filmmakers to give away their music rights for peanuts, Darshan did a very brave thing.

He launched his own music company. Luckily for him his maiden music score "Andaaz" proved a bonanza.

The same team of Nadeem Shravan and Sameer now returns with a soundtrack that gets you humming for a while.

Suneel Darshan has a knack of extracting the best out of Nadeem Shravan. Without a shred of doubt the duo's best work in recent times was in the same director's "Andaaz".

Now after a series of disappointing trip-outs they belt out a mildly dulcet sound track. There's variety and vivacity in Sonu Nigam's rock-stadia title track.

Though Kumar Sanu and Sadhana Sargam's "Tumko dulhan banayenge" borders on the banal and the Sufi-ana of "Deewani main deewani" irks rather than works, the other love duet "Tum bin na hum jee sakenge" gets by on the strength of Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik's treacly timbre. Sameer's lyrics are standard lovey-dovey stuff.

It takes the zingy voice of Alisha Chinoy to add allure to the album. Her "Mashooqa" with Shaan shimmers invitingly. It should've been placed first instead of last. Don't look for melodies from R.D. Burman's "Mere Jeevan Saathi" in this moderate ear-fare. Just sink into your sofa and get into the groove.
