Gulshan Deviah has had a rather out of the box-casting in the first few films of his career.

He started off by playing an eccentric guy in Shaitan, then became a Kannada-speaking gangster in That Girl In Yellow Boots and a villainous industrialist in Hate Story.

Buzz is that Gulshan is all set to play a Raavan-esque character in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming romantic saga.

A source says, `Gulshan will be essaying the negative lead role in the film and will be something on the lines of Count Paris who wishes to marry Juliet in Shakespeare's romance drama.`

The film that is a Gujarati take on Romeo and Juliet stars Ranveer Singh as Romeo and Deepika Padukone as his Juliet.
