Shahid Kapoor is once again gearing up for a lean and mean look for Rajkumar Santoshi's upcoming film. The actor, who has to do many action scenes in the film, has been told to chisel his body for a few topless scenes.
The actor has been off the gym route for a few months for another film commitment. A source tells us, `It has only been a week since Shahid joined the gym after a gap of almost four months. He had been asked to lose all the bulk for another film.`
The actor was so out of form that on the first day, he couldn't lift the required sets of weight.
The source says, `There was a lot playing on his mind that day. Sasha was battling through some personal issues. He was also unhappy that the film for which he let go off his strong built didn't work out ultimately.`
Apparently, his trainer Abbas Ali had to ask him to leave and come back later. The source adds that his trainer has ordered him to keep his shirtless image in mind and use that as an inspiration to build his body.
