Usually, when it comes to the presence of celebrities from the world of films and television, Mumbai is where the action is! However, of late, Delhi has been, slowly but
surely, emerging as the favourite haunt of stars from the world of films and television what with an increasing number of filmmakers turning to the locales in the capital to
shoot their cinematic ventures.
Cine-buffs in the capital had an opportunity to watch their favourite stars like Suniel Shetty, Ashmit Patel, Rahul Dev, Sohail Khan, Dino Morea, Zayed Khan, Ritesh
Deshmukh, Ashish Chowdhury and actresses Neha Dhupia in "action" when they descended in Delhi for the shooting of their film "Fight Club".
Usually when stars come to Delhi to shoot their films it is a very hush-hush trip, as was the case when Satish Kaushik shot for his film 'Milenge Milenge', starring Kareena
Kapoor and Shahid Kapur, at the film city at Noida or when Dharmesh Darshan shot his 'Bewafa' at the Shahdara and Kashmiri gate stations of the Delhi Metro.
However, the shooting of 'Fight Club', being jointly produced by Sohail Khan, brother of teenage heartthrob Salman Khan, and Rising Star Entertainment at Ansal Plaza in
South Delhi caught a lot of attention, perhaps due to the presence of an entire galaxy of their favourite film stars.
Fight Club revolves around two fighting clubs and has a big brigade of actors starring in it. While one gang comprises of action stars Suniel Shetty, Ashmit Patel, Yash and
Rahul Dev, the other gang has Sohail Khan, Dino Morea, Zayed Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh and Ashish Chowdhury. The film also stars Dia Mirza, Amrita Arora and Neha
Dhupia.
No wonder then, watching all these stars in 'flesh and blood' at the same time was an enthralling experience for the Delhiites, more so since the Ansal Plaza is located in
the heart of South Delhi.
