After penning successful crime thriller "Gangs Of Wasseypur", writer Zeishan Quadri is scripting another crime-based drama and says it
will be directed by Suparn Verma.
"My next film is again based on crime and it is for director Suparn Verma. It's a film based on kidnapping cases. Basically, the story is on
the burning issue that is witnessed in our country, " said Quadri.
"I have almost finished the script and the film will be shot in Mumbai and other locations. If things will fall in place, then I might act in the
film, " said Quadri who had acted in "Gangs of Wasseypur".
"Gangs Of Wasseypur" was directed by Anurag Kashyap and the two-part crime thriller turned out to be a huge box office hit.
"Basically, I am scripting three films and all three of them are based on crime. I am attracted towards such scripts. So if Zeishan is
scripting, crime has to be part of it, " he added.
Verma had earlier directed "Acid Factory", "Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena" and "Ugly Aur Pagli".
Asked when the film will go on the floors, Quadri said: "Right now Suparn is busy with the post-production of his film 'Aatma'. Once he is
done with that, we will start rolling."
Meanwhile, the writer is focusing on his acting career too.
"Yes, I am reading few scripts and I am interested in acting. But I should be convinced with the script. So let's see how things fall in
place."
