Nargis underwent rigorous physical training for action sequences in her next film 'Madras Cafe'

Nargis Fakhri is all out to make people see a new avatar of her - a far cry from her Ranbir Kapoor-starrrer Rockstar days. She has been sporting a leaner, athletic frame for Shoojit Sircar's upcoming project. As the film starring John Abraham involves a lot of action sequence, she has also extensively prepared for the role.

The actress took upon the onus of training herself for the role prior to the shoot schedule. Says a source, `The film requires her not only to do action sequences, but extreme adventure sport as well. She spent some time in Australia, the hub for adventure sports, to put in a stint with the experts in Sydney. `


Adds the source, `Apart from a rigorous physical training schedule, she also watched multiple documentaries by network journalists on war coverage as she plays a journo in the film. `

With John as he co-star, Nargis is leaving no stone unturned to get into the action mode as well as him.
